Project Description: This project was created to display my understanding of asynchronous counters. I created this circuit by first developing a plan where I would place each of my components. I used the combination of SSI and MSI logic to create a counter that can go from 0 - 80 and reset. This type of counter can be found at local restaurants and delis. The CDS software I used to create this circuit is Multisim. The display was made of two seven-segment displays where the ones place was made from MSI logic and the tens place was made using SSI logic (D Flip-flops). The outputs for each type of logic was connected to a multiplexer which signalled the seven-segment displays. The parts I used for this project was 74LS48N, 74LS93N, 74LS74N, and AOI Logic gates (Inverter, AND, NAND).
