4. Sequential Logic - 555 Timer

Learning Target: I will be able to understand the use of Transistors & Logic gates and their relationship in an Electronic Circuit.

Project Description: In this assignment we had to create three 555 Timers based on a reference given by our teacher. The 555 Timer is a really interesting circuit and the purpose of it was to stimulate a pattern of blinking lights. Based on the value of the capacitor the output changed values quicker or slower than the original capacitor value given.

What I Learned: This circuit was one of the more complex circuits we built in CDS. It was really tedious to make 3 of these circuits but at the end I was able to truely understand the function of the 555 Timer. Doing this project was really fun and it was really satisfying when I was able to complete this assignment.
