Old Master's


Directions: 

In art history, "Old Master" (or "old master") refers to any painter of skill who worked in Europe before about 1800, or a painting by such an artist. An "old master print" is an original print (for example an engraving or etching) made by an artist in the same period.


STEP 1:  Review OLD MASTERS paintings. Find a few that you would be inspired to recreate

STEP 2: Choose 1, Sketch out your plan.  Choose models, costumes, lighting, etc.  Discuss your plan with the teacher

STEP 3: Take the photographs, view them, edit them, critique them.  Decide if you need to edit/re-shoot

STEP 4: Critique with the whole class
