This pizza lab’s purpose is to experience the process of edible pizza making and analyze the measurement of each ingredient in terms of organic molecules and perform a test with indicators. In this lab, we are able to choose any ingredient that the lab technician provided to put on top of the pizza. The molecules in pizza’s ingredients that we are looking for are protein, carbohydrates, and lipids. The biomolecule is the topic that relates to this experiment, protein, carbohydrates, and lipids are biomolecules that we studied in class. In this lab, we got to know the real reaction of each biomolecule and understand more about this topic.
As a result, after we finished the lab, we tested each biomolecule by using these 4 indicators which are Benedict solutions, Iodine solutions, Biuret solutions and Ethanol. Carbohydrates, Lipid and Protein. In this lab we have learned how to use indicators in the correct way and also how to calculate biomass & biomolecules. Our pizza tasted better than what we have expected at the beginning. When we see the results of each indicator is very exciting.

This is a group work, so we have to manage and separate the work into equal part and I also listen to others' opinion.
