Arriving in Misawa

Arrival

New employees typically arrive in Misawa via air travel. The base shares a the flight-line with the Misawa Airport. Whether you arrive via commercial or military air, your sponsor will greet you and any family members traveling with you, at the airport. Your sponsor will provide you with additional information regarding your transition to Misawa.

Lodging

All new employees will be booked in the Temporary Living Facility (TLF), managed by the Misawa Inn. The TLF is a furnished apartment with a kitchen and washer/dryer.
