This was an assignment we were given to practice textures and see what we can do and what we needed improvement on. This was my third copy because I couldn't get the majority of it right until this one. The goal was to show shape, contour, texture, and tone by using hatching, cross hatching, contour hatching, stippling, scumbling, and possible other line techniques. I used scumbling on the pinkie finger, waving horizontal lines on the middle finger, random marks on the index finger to try and get a rough texture, and a mix of scumbling and curved lines on the ring fingure. i continued with curved lines on the thumb and palm. I used stippling for the wrist and tried drawing the viens. I also included a chain interwining between the fingers. I used hatching to give it texture as well.
