This assignment, 1 Point Perspective, was meant to teach us how to use points, use the proper lines for certain angles, and to practice perspective drawing. We started with making at least five boxes with a minimum of two overlapping. Then we had to research and make our own 1 point perspective drawing. Then design the sketches on Illustrator.
These are the boxes I drew. In my final sketch, I had the wrong instructions, so I wasn't aware until designing it that I had done it wrong. When I found out, I fixed it on Illustrator using guidelines as rulers. I wanted mine to have lots of sides showing and multi-colored so I could do different shades to show the lighting.
This is my final sketch and design for the 1 Point Perspective drawing. I really loved how it turned out and the colors in the design, specifically with how well it all compliments the other colors. During designing this, I had gotten various tips and suggestions from peers and my teacher. I removed the objects on the table from the design as it was too complicated for 1 point. I also changed the angle of the chair because of how the framing was, the chair wouldn't had been facing forward like it was in the sketch. I also used guidelines as rulers when fixing this in the design process. I added an extra hallway in the back part of the design, and I put interiors into all of the windows.
