Huntington and Earthquake

Janice Jones, 53 year old woman shot in the leg by accident. An normal 10 P.M Wednesday in Barstow, California, when Janice Jones gun was knocked off the seat and click fired into her leg. The dog named Tombo (a Pomeranian) had suffered enough animal abuse.

“It could have been worse,” Rye said. “The bullet hit two inches from the gas tank.”

Her dog knocks the gun right off the seat causing the gun to shoot into her leg, while being shot is something terrible it could have been much worse because the bullet barely missed the gas tank by 2 inches. Janice Jones was very lucky this day that things hadn't gone worse than they already did, and next time needs to think before having all of these regulations.

Janice Jones has been charged with animal abuse because of the dogs size and the cigaret burns on the dogs forehead. The dog could have done this on purpose because of the way the dog has been treated and strikes back after being abused for so long.

“It could have done with a little less abuse and a few more of those pork chops,” Ngo said.

Janice Jones was okay in the end and nothing had happened other than animal abuse charges and the dog got taken away from her and placed into Huntington Bach Animal Control. Also, Janice being considered to take another charge based on relation to the gun incident and Janice doesn't have a permit for the gun.



An earthquake stuck and rocked San Francisco Bay to their feet on Monday morning 8:12 to be exact. This earthquake was very sudden and random causing a building housing McHenry's Auto Supply at 2342 Plum St. to partially fall, ending up with 2 casualties and 6 badly injured.

In the moment a witness stating “I was eating my breakfast when the room started rolling. I dove under the table just as I heard an explosion outside and a chunk of cement flew through my kitchen window. That’s when the screaming start across the street.”
