Create a schedule for the day, week or month to help keep track of the work.

CHECKLISTS

Provide students with checklists for steps of a project, keep track of materials, or to prepare a presentation.

RUBRICS

Provide students with rubrics for peer, self, or teacher assessment.

Managing materials

WORK W/ WHAT YOU HAVE

Students can use a variety of materials, such as paper (w/ or w/o a printer) recycled materials and art supplies.

TOOLS & UTENSILS

Students can use a variety of utensils & tools when designing and creating. They may even learn a skill or two. Just remember to go over safety tips with students and parents. If students to not have access.

DIGITAL OPTIONS

Identify digital tools available to students, including emulators, apps, and operating system features.

Documenting the work

DRAWING, WRITING, TEXT

Students can learn to use graphic organizers, journals or Design Thinking Workbook, to reflect and record their work and progress.

PICTURES

Using device cameras, screen captures or adding content from an image search can help students document their process.

VIDEOS

Apps like Flipgrid or ClassDojo not only provide the option of recording their work but can also help them to share the final product with teachers or in a presentation.
