Nutcracker Stamp

For about 8 years, we here in the Art room make Christmas cards for the local hospital;  Each class has a different theme. 

In 5th grade where asked to do a close up of a nutcracker. Then they could design it any way they would like. They used many tools in the art room to get the out come they wanted.

I just love these!! The detail they put in them. 

materials : 10 by 10 white paper, ruler, pencil, eraser,  Black Sharpie,  and markers .

Holy Week

Its was Holy Week in school. Saw this project and thought it fit in nicely with what was going on.  

My 5th grader did a wonderful job.

Materials:  81/2by 11 white paper.  Pencil, eraser, crayons, or color pencils ,and black sharpie

Crazy Square Birds

I gave 3 different size square construction paper to my students.  They also where give scissors and glue. I told them nothing else can be used! NO PENCIELS!!! 

The job was, make 3 different birds that where connected together.  They could only use what was in the scrape box.  They also had to make sure the beak came off the paper. 

I think at first they where a little taken back. But by the end of it. They loved this project! It was fun see all the different personalities in these. 

materials : 3 different size squares, hold bunch of scrape construction paper, scissors, and glue .
