See our final pieces of art work displayed in our cloakroom in year 1. The children did so well to create art work which was influenced by the artist Piet Mondrian and by using contrasting colours showing warmth and cool colours.

We have learnt about the Artist Piet Mondrian and learnt how he was an abstract painter. We looked at his art work and have created our own representations of his work. Some of us then decided to create our own imagery using rulers and pencils to then paint in afterwards.
We have started our hot and cold topic this term by looking at colour mixing. The children loved exploring colour mixing!
We've been using natural materials to make faces.
