Teaching as Inquiry

We use the “Spiral of Inquiry” model to challenge and improve our teaching practice. We use this to help to challenge our practice in order to accelerate targeted students or to change the outcomes for other groups of identified students e.g. gifted and talented, non-engaged, achieving students not meeting their full potential. We choose one group of students to focus on per term for an inquiry process to improve practice.


All of our monitored students are also monitored using an inquiry process knowing that we can’t accelerate or change the outcomes for students unless we also challenge our own practice.
