Health & Physical Education

To develop resilience and a sense of personal and social responsibility in order to build positive attitudes towards their own well-being and those of others around them by accepting challenges in health related and movement concepts, and in making considered personal choices.

Learners will be encouraged to build resilience through strengthening personal identity and self-worth, managing change and loss, and engaging in responsible decision-making, together with developing skills for interpersonal relationships.

Children will be exposed to a wide range of traditional and non-traditional sports and team game opportunities and be encourage to participate in St Joseph’s extra-curricular sports teams.


Health and Physical Education Year Plan

Our health program teaching is consulted with our community and with our proprietor (every 18 months). All aspects of health teaching are directly linked with special character:
