Here I want to introduce my top 10 Technology Tools and Apps. I frequently use these Apps during my teaching. The incorporation of these Technology Tools into my teaching supports student's learning in all types of settings, face to face, fully online, and hybrid. You will find tools for creating digital portfolios, Apps which foster learning through gameplay, or Apps which let students create digital presentations featuring their oral or digital language productions. I highly recommend the use of these tools in a foreing language teacher's classroom.
H5P is an opensource platform for creating interactive educational content. (i.e. interactive video, flashcards, hotspot-activities). You can see examples of H5P's all throughout the website which I created for my experiential module.
Seesaw is a digital portfolio app, which engages and inspires students. It lets you create a virtual classroom where Students use creative tools to take pictures, draw, record videos and capture their learning in a digital portfolio.
Flipgrid is a website that allows teachers to create "grids" to facilitate video discussions. The teacher can post questions and the students can post video responses.
EDpuzzle lets you take any video off the web, edit it, add notes and questions for students and create virtual classrooms where you can monitor student work.
Pear Deck is an interactive presentation tool used to actively engage students in individual and social learning. Teachers create presentations using their Google Drive account. Students log into the presentation with unique access codes and interact with questions while teachers monitor student and whole-class progress.
Jamboard is a Google G-Suite Application. It is an interactive whiteboard which supports students online collaboration from anywhere and therefore lends itself for distance learning.
Kahoot! is a game-based learning platform that brings gameplay and fun to the learning process. "Kahoots" are user generated multiple choice quizzes which let students compete against each other or study on an individual basis.
Quizlet is a free website providing learning tools for students, including flashcard, study and game modes or trivia quizzes for competitive game play.

Screencast-O-Matic is a free screen capture tool. The free version allows students to record up to 15 minutes of narrated video / screen capture. This provides for easy video communications and videos can be used for flipped / blended learning, student assignments, teacher feedback and more!
