I designed this interpersonal conversation task to have a practice for the interpersonal conversation task of the AP-exam. I wrote and recorded one side of a conversation which my students then logically have to complete. This is great exercise for interpersonal speaking as the students have to understand what is being said and respond with their own 20 second reply in order to complete the other side of the conversation. Please find the overview of the conversation, the script and the recorded voice file for you reference below.
Overview (This is what the students receive ahead of the recording. They have one minute to prepare their responses)
Script of the conversation (students will not see this until after they have recorded their replies.)
Recording: This is the recording of the one sided conversation. Between each prompt the students have 20 seconds to record their own logical side of the conversation. For the recording we either utilize Flipgrid or the Voice-Memo function on the student's smart phones.
