For this part of the Mini-AP-Assessment I created a presentation topic question which also centers around the unit of social engagement and volunteering. Please find the prompt and my scoring rubric below.
Task 4: Presentational Speaking
Cultural Comparison
You will make an oral presentation on a
specific topic to your class. You will have
4 minutes to read the presentation topic
and prepare your presentation. Then
you will have 2 minutes to record your
presentation.
In your presentation, compare your own
community to an area of the German speaking
world with which you are
familiar. You should demonstrate your
understanding of cultural features of the
German-speaking world. You should also
organize your presentation clearly.
Thema des Vortrags:
Wie unterscheidet sich freiwilliges Engagement der Jugendlichen in Ihrer Umgebung von dem in deutschsprachigen Regionen? Vergleichen Sie Perspektiven, wo Sie wohnen, mit Perspektiven in deutschsprachigen Regionen! Sie können in Ihrem Vortrag Beobachtungen, Erfahrungen oder das, was Sie gelernt haben, beschreiben.
Sie halten vor Ihrer Klasse einen Vortrag
über ein bestimmtes Thema. Sie haben 4
Minuten Zeit, um das Vortragsthema zu
lesen und Ihren Vortrag vorzubereiten.
Dann haben Sie 2 Minuten Zeit, um Ihren
Vortrag aufzunehmen.

How does social engagement and volunteering in your community differ from that of a german speaking region? Please compare and contrast perspectives of your community with the perspectives of a german speaking region. You can describe observations, experiences and that which you have learned in your German class in your presentation.
