A Worked Example provides a step-by-step solution to a realistic problem. This allows students to see your work, follow along with it, and understand the reasoning behind figuring out a problem before then applying this understanding to follow-up exercises and assignments.
A Partially Solved Worked Example differs from one that is fully solved in that it provides the same scaffolding and guidance, but not the complete solution. This often follows a fully worked solution and is usually complimented by another learning activity.
