H5P allows for the creation of a wide range of interactive content. H5P's focus is not on comprehensive interactive experiences. Rather, its modular content types are ideal for placing specific interactions within a larger lesson.

Some content types focus on assessment, allowing you to place knowledge checks inline with other lesson content. This can be great for formative assessments, since in Brightspace, Quizzes take place in a separate tool which redirects students to a new page.

But H5P also offers more complex visualizations and tools, like interactive timelines and branching scenarios.

Though H5P's content types are somewhat fixed, they are also easy to create and offer an expanded range of options compared to Brightspace's native tools.
