Scheduling of berthing assistants roster and shift system, subject to management approval;
Maintain and foster a team of Berthing Assistants as per the guidance of ther Company General Manager and where the need arises for the recruitment of additional or replacement Staff; search for canididates, conduct Interviews and work trials of prospective Berthing Assistants required by the Company.
Establish, draw up, maintain and document marina general, preventative and extraordinary schedule of maintenance;
Strive and take initiative to ensure that the general service offered by Company is of the highest standard in order to maintain and ensure a superior level of service and experience in the marina when compared to other marinas;
Establish, maintain and develop relationship with other International marinas in order to generate reciprocal visiting yachts;
Manage and maintain the marina supplier chain;
Provide management will all required documented reports for the proper execution of his duties.
Constant inspection of boat mooring and ensuring safe berthing;
Monitor and maintain an active weather forecast on the Company Notice Board and in the case of increment weather advise the Marina customers and Staff accordingly through electronic means,
In the case of exceptional weather conditions ascertain sufficient staff and/or additional human resources required to guarantee safe berthing of all yachts within the Marina.
Provide general assistance to clients, including transfer of luggage;
Ensure the general cleaning of the marina including the period washing of the pontoons;
Reporting to the General manager any anomalies and faults;
Follow-up the twice daily boat attendance/presences at the marina to be carried out by the Berthing Assistants;
Carry out general maintenance as per marina scheduled plan of maintenance including but not limited to painting, heavy lifting, access of underground service culverts and marina cess pits, fuel tanks, fresh water and grey water tanks, marina landscaping irrigation system and the cleaning of the marina storm water culverts and drains;
Periodical cleaning of marina mooring lines from growth and fowling;
Ensure the general upkeep and maintenance of company tools, vehicles and machinery and safety equipment;
Supervise the general water quality and coordinate with the contractor appointed by the Company for the removal of toxic substances;
Maintain an active nautical, VHF, firefighting and first aid licence at all times;
Liaise with the Company cleaners when necessary to ensure cleanliness at all times;
Maintain the stores of the Company to ensure that spare parts are always well stocked;
Driving Company rhib for patrolling and inspection of yachts and their moorings and including the transfer of guests from the marina to other destinations as may be required;
Driving of marina motor vehicle as may be required;
Carry out under water inspections, surveys, repairs and maintenance of the marina pontoons and yacht moorings, ropes, chains, sinkers and ground tackles;
Maintaining fuel levels of the marina rhibs and vehicles;
Wear and maintain company gear as may be required;
Collection of garbage bags left behind by yacht owners and disposed of correctly in the appropriate marina skips;
Washing, inspection and routine maintenance of customer’s boats as may be required from time to time;
Monitor, Review Entries and Maintain the Company’s Marina Logbook and ascertain that Berthing Assistants maintain an accurate description of events and yacht movements in the Marina.
Be responsible for the general administration of the the marina office and overlooking of the receptionist/front office of the Company, at Haywharf, Pieta’;
Collaborate with the accountants of the Company and ensure that the book-keeping of the Company is up to date and in order as per applicable rules and regulations, including the posting and filing of supplier invoices within the Company’s online accounting system as well as the issue of berthing invoices to clients and their respective ancillary credit notes and other credit arrangements;
Chasing of dues;
Overview of daily transactions of Company’s bank accounts, including online payments and issuance of cheques to suppliers;
Maintenance of Company’s Petty Cash;
Meeting and greeting clients;
Answering phone calls;
Sorting and distributing post;
Answering of all email and general correspondence with clients, suppliers, trades, authorities and contractors,
Answering/delegating of berthing and tariff requests;
Registration of clients information into the Company’s marina administration software including but not limited to the maintenance of up to date vessel documents and records including the compulsory collection of registry and insurance certificates ;
Administration of the marina online administration software;
Issuing marina’s water and electricity credit including the management of relative deposits;
Reporting of berthing movements and statistics to Company’s management and authorities as may be requested by Company from time to time;
Extraction of financial and berthing data for management reporting purposes;
Overview of Company’s roster system through Company’s online shift software
Overseeing and delegation of Company web-site and other social media accounts;
Overseeing and delegation and posting of Company’s newsletters
Administrative stock taking;
Administrative filing and record keep both paper and paperless;
Maintain an outward sales approach for annual and transit customers alike;
Co-ordination of the administrative needs of the other employees including the issuance of pay-roll including the collection and review of documentation of new employees/termination of employees, and liasing with Company’s in-house/outsourced HR for support of payroll activities;
Maintain good relations with and assist administratively as may be necessary from time to time in the interest of the Company all group and/or related companies to the Company and their respective shareholders, directors and employees;
Assist in the set-up, the manning, promotion and marketing of Company event and/or event that may be organized at marina, including but not limited to the boat show, regattas, boat races, fairs as general marketing events.
Be available on site in the event of severe weather or any other emergency that may required by the Company to have a full compliment of staff present on site or on stand by.
Employee shall be prohibited from smoking in all areas of the workplace which are visible to the clients.

Attend rostered shift requests to be made through Company's online roster system;
Maintain an outward sales approach for annual and transit customers alike and strive to maintain good client relations;
Maintain good relations with and assist administratively as may be necessary from time to time in the interest of the Company all group and/or related companies to the Company and their respective shareholders, directors and employees;
Assist with the Marina's Online presence through updating of the company website, social media channels, online marina portals, online maritime directories and marina client newsletters;
Assist in the set-up, the manning, promotion and marketing of Company event and/or event that may be organized at marina, including but not limited to the boat show, regattas, boat races, fairs as general marketing events.
Be available on site in the event of severe weather or any other emergency that may require the Company to have a full complement of staff present on site or on standby.
