Hadley Regan grew up in Glendora. She received all of her sacraments right here at Saint Dorothy Catholic Church. After high school, she attended Azusa Pacific University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Leadership. She completed her graduate career at The University of La Verne, where she received her Master of Arts in Teaching and teaching credential. Ms. Regan has been working with the Glendora Unified School District for the last two years. She has also worked with the high school confirmation students at Saint Dorothy’s for the last seven years. This is her first year as a second grade teacher. She feels blessed to work with this community in a new way. She has a deep passion for education and is eager to begin teaching at this wonderful school.
As we closed out the 2019-2020 school-year from home, our second graders were instructed through weekly Zoom meetings. Students engaged in interactive online resources from the Superkids Reading Program, Epic, Freckle, Mystery Science, Studies Weekly, National Geographic Kids, and were even able to continue Accelerated Reader through Renaissance to meet their reading goals! Lessons continued for all core subjects, with additional support for First Holy Communion preparation and by our specials teachers for Music, Spanish, and P.E. The 2020-2021 will continue in the same way! Students will be engaged through distance learning until until we can safely return to the classroom. I am excited for that day and eager to work together this year.
