IN SCHOOL ACCESS

Open an internet browser. Chrome or Internet Explorer are available within school.

This will give you access to RM Unify.

Click on the Mail icon to access e-mail. The first time you do this you will be asked to select your time zone, select GMT – London.

Go to: http://www.stbarts.co.uk/

Click on student e-mail and then enter your e-mail log-in details (see above). You will arrive at the RM Unify page again and can then simply click on ‘Mail’.

ON YOUR PHONE

Much the easiest way to access your e-mails is to download the Outlook App (for both Apple and Android) on your phone and/or tablet. You then simply enter your log in details (see above). This way you can get alerts etc.

Student Wifi Setup

If you wish to setup and use the school wifi on your own devices then you must complete a 'Bring Your Own Device' (BYOD) form, available from the 6th Form Office.

Any technical issues with the wifi should be reported to the ICT office on the top floor of the Wormestall block.

or via http://www.stbarts.co.uk/portals/students/ (click on Show My Homework)

You can find your Independent Study tasks without logging in but you need to log-in to use the system effectively.

You can also download an app for android or apple and manage your Independent Study via your phone.

Biometric Registration

You need to ask your parent/carer to complete the biometric form (available from the 6th Form Office) and return it to the facilities office (through the canteen doors by the water machine). You will then have your finger print image will be taken. I would encourage you to also get a PIN which can be used when your fingerprint is not recognised.

From that point onwards when purchasing food/drinks and signing in/out fo school you simply place your finger on the scanner. If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to contact either the Facilities Manager or the Business Director.
