Service 2274 is a fixed cost allocation to agencies pursuant to the FY24 Decision Item R-05 (OIT) Data Driven Decisions. This decision item provided ongoing funding for the OIT Chief Data Office to serve as the Data Center of Excellence and help agencies leverage the state’s data assets to deliver secure, impactful, resident-centric services and enable data-driven policy decisions. The request provided resources to develop Enterprise Data Governance and Management; and Data Technical Services.

The cost allocation for service 2274 is based on the same method used for OIT Administrative Services: per % of Statewde IT Spend in the most recent closed fiscal year at the time of budget setting (This link provides a summary of the expense data and calculation used for FY25 billing).
