The Colorado Shines Professional Development Information System (PDIS) is a web-based system providing free and easy access to online self-paced professional development courses and information on free and fee-based instructor-led training. PDIS includes competency-based self-assessments and a professional development planning feature. PDIS is also Colorado's early childhood workforce registry and where professionals apply for early childhood credentials and qualifications. Local early childhood councils also offer a wealth of professional development opportunities.
