Line

To create a line or arc (if you hold the click)

To create rectangles. There are different ways you may need to use this tool if you are starting from the middle of the shape or under other circumstances.

Fillet Tool

Places an arc of a specified radius at a corner or intersection of two lines.

How to use

Select the first line and then the second. All fillets you create as you execute the command share the radius dimension parameter.

Circles & Ellipse

Purpose

Creates a Circle using either a center point or three tangent lines or an Ellipse using a center point and major and minor axis.

Polygons

Purpose

Regular polygons are multi-sided shapes that have sides of equal length. They may be inscribed or circumscribed within a given radius. The raw materials that are used to produce engineered objects are often manufactured in the shape of regular polygons.

Creates polygonal shape with up to 120 Sides

Specify the number of sides and creation method, circumscribed or inscribed. Then, use two points to specific the center of the polygon and the extent

Spline (Control Vertex & Interpolation)

Purpose

Create irregular curves, such as the involute curve on a gear tooth or the contour of a car body surface

Arc

Purpose

An arc is any smooth curve joining two points. You can determine your arc by defining the size of an arc by establishing three points of tangency, referencing two points of tangency, or identifying a center point and two points of tangency.

Trim

Purpose

To remove lines that are unnecessary or remove geometry boundaries.

Extend

Purpose

Extends lines, arcs, etc to the next nearest object. This allows you to be able to connect objects that are not fully closed. This tool is helpful when it comes to trouble shooting open objects.
