Pit Orchestra 

The Pit Orchestra at SAHS is made up of student musicians from our entire department. 

This ensemble is not a graded class, but an extra curricular club.

The Pit Orchestra has two performances during the school year - Our Fall Musical Concert and our Spring Musical. Students meet after school to prepare the music for these performances. Students perform on real Broadway Show Books and learn the demanding parts the shows call for. Our audiences experience the thrill of a Live Pit Orchestra at each show. Over the years, students in the Pit Orchestra have thoroughly enjoyed their experience and friendships they have made. Our most recent production was "Oliver!" this past Spring 2025.
