Mr. Bruce Engel 

Mr. Engel was a member of the St. Anthony's faculty for 32 years. He served as the Director of Music from 1998-2023. Upon his retirement in 2024, he was awarded Music Director Emeritus for his decades of dedication to the program. Mr. Engel created an outstanding legacy here in the St. Anthony's music department, and one that we will continue to carry on for decades to come! 

Mr. Engel still contributes his many gifts to St. Anthony's as he continues to conduct The Brooklyn Brass, a group which performs at all memeroable events, such as Ring Day Mass, Graduation, and our Choral Concerts. 

Mr. Engel was appointed as the Orchestra Director of BAFFA (Bay Area Friends of the Fine Arts) in 2024. BAFFA's Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1970, making it one of the longest performing community Orchestra's on Long Island.
