GSB Residences

GSB Residences epitomize the California lifestyle; the residential complex is located across the street from the Stanford Graduate School of Business (Knight Management Center). It is the primary residential community for SEP. GSB Residences offer single occupancy, hotel-style accommodations. Each participant has a private bedroom and bathroom with shower; they are equipped with basic amenities. Additional amenities are available upon request. International guests should bring their own electrical adapters (110 volts) for appliances.

GSB Residences provides the following 24/7 front desk services and amenities:

Amenities

Hair Dryer

●      Located in each bathroom below the sink.

Iron & Ironing Board

●      Located in each suite.

Complimentary Toiletries

●      Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash is provided and refilled as needed during housekeeping. 

In-house Laundry Facilities 

●      Complimentary detergent and dryer sheets are located inside the laundry rooms. These machines are free, energy efficient washer and dryers. 

Cable Television

●      Each room is furnished with a 32’ flat screen TV and cable television.

Free Domestic and International Calling 

●      Connect with family and friends from all over the world with complimentary calling. Telephones are located in each individual suite with its own unique number. 

Dry-cleaning Services (at an additional charge) 

●      We’ve partnered with PurpleTie for all dry-cleaning needs. Download their app and setup an account to get started. Bring down your garments to the activity room in Jack McDonald Hall and schedule a pick-up. Items are then dropped off on the next business day in the drop-off location. 

Complimentary Bikes 

●      Bikes are available for use and are the easiest way to get around Palo Alto and Stanford. Stop by the Guest Services desk to use a bike and they will show you how to access bikes. Bikes are available on a first come, first serve basis.  

Room Cleaning Service 

●      Housekeeping will be performed at specific times during the week. 

●      Bed linens are changed once a week. The GSB Residences uses white bed linens. If you bring your own personal linens, please make sure they are separated from the GSB Residences’ bed linens before the linens are changed each week. Please keep all other personal items off the bed when you leave your room to avoid any missing items that may be accidentally taken and placed in the laundry when the bed linens are changed.

The residence team asks that packages are not delivered until 5 days prior to the arrival date. If you have questions about mail or packages, please see the Schwab Front Desk.

Overnight Guests

GSB Residences rooms are single occupancy only.  We ask that you do not have guests stay overnight with you in your room during your time in SEP. 

Family Visits

If your family is planning to visit during the program, below are local hotels listed. Past participants have also used services such as Airbnb and VRBO to secure shorter stay accommodations.

CHECK-OUT

Check-out of the first two weeks of accommodations will be on Saturday, November 11th by 9am.

Check-out of the concluding two weeks of accommodations will be on Saturday, February 17th by 9am. 

Unfortunately, GSB Residences cannot accommodate any late check-outs or extended stays.
