GSB Alumni Community

Friendships and relationships that begin on campus continue through life, enriching personal lives and careers. The Stanford Graduate School of Business alumni network is over 29,000 strong and growing, with nearly 9,000 alumni who live outside the United States. Our alumni community includes graduates from the world-class MBA, MSx, PhD, and SEP programs. SEP alumni make up a quarter of the total GSB alumni worldwide.  Below, we outline what it means to be a part of the GSB Alumni Association and how to stay connected. Our Alumni Association offers several ways in which you can stay connected. We have a robust online community, regional chapters around the globe, featured events on campus and around the world, and many ways in which you can engage with the GSB community.

Creation of Your Stanford GSB Alumni Account and Stanford GSB Alumni Email Address:

In October, you will receive an email from the GSB Alumni Relations Team with instructions and a unique link to set up your Stanford GSB alumni account and Stanford GSB alumni email address. This account is on the Google platform and includes Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides with 30 GB of storage space. Once activated, you have access to this account for life as a Stanford GSB Alumni. 

Online Community:

Alumni Network is a set of online tools that includes directories, groups, discussions, event information, and provides access to alumni communities.

Connect with the Stanford GSB network through these platforms:

• Update your LinkedIn profile to include your Stanford program.

• Join our exclusive participants-only Executive Circle LinkedIn group.

• Subscribe to Stanford GSB e-newsletters and online resources.

Local Chapters

Whether you are within the United States or anywhere else in the world, you can connect with a local group through our worldwide regional chapters. We have 60 active chapters, including 40 outside the U.S. Last year our chapter volunteers planned over 250 alumni events. Make connections, share ideas, and attend events in your region.

Alumni Events

In addition, all GSB alumni are invited to join us on campus for Alumni Weekend that is part of the fall reunions. The next Alumni Weekend will be announced at a later date. 

Where it Begins

Giving back is part of the GSB culture and it takes many forms. The GSB mission is to change the world, and our alumni turn that vision into a reality. The Stanford GSB thrives thanks to the generosity of alumni, corporate and foundation partners, and friends. Many forms of engagement demonstrate the strength and commitment of our community, whose financial and volunteer contributions make our ongoing leadership in management education possible.
