We have three mobile 43inch TCL 4K Android TVs on black wheeled stands. They have HDMI cables but can also get on the Internet and use any standard Android 'casting software from your laptop.

9May2021 - Per George Toye they are now on the SU Net with Android TV casting and Google Duo video functionality.

To use with Chromecasting

  • Turn on TV and make sure it's on the Stanford (not Stanford visitor) network in settings/wifi

  • If you are using Google Chrome you should be able to cast to it (click on the 3 dots at upper right of your Chrome window for a pull-down menu).

    • This defaults to casting only your current Chrome window. You can stop casting, select source to be the entire desktop (might need to change permissions on your laptop) and then restart casting
