Hotels in Palo Alto can be expensive, but there are affordable hotels in the surrounding area that are affordable. Check the web to find current deals, but be sure to read customer reviews from guests. These hotels aren’t an exhaustive list, but have good reviews and cost around $100 per night when booking in advance. A general rule of thumb is to check prices around 5 weeks in advance and if it looks like prices are going up buy it before it gets too pricy. If you are booking hotel rooms for graduation or Families’ Weekend, you will want to book further in advance because there are a lot of people coming all at once to the area for both events.
