IXL is an educational platform designed to support K-12 students in subjects like math, language arts, science, and social studies. St. Albert the Great students have access to the K-12 Math and ELA modules. IXL offers:

Click on the PDF Guide to the left to learn more about IXL access at home. The guide references "IXL Launch Cards". These will be sent home in the Tuesday Folder. 4th and 5th grades have already received their cards. Younger grades will soon follow. Students in Grades 6 - 8 will use a Chromebook and signin with the Google button once they reach the St. Albert IXL page.

Students will now find a personalized study plan in IXL that is based upon their most recent MAP Growth scores. Students can access their study plan from the right side of the screen once they login to IXL.
Students click on the Personal NWEA MAP Growth study plan link to access their plan.
Each plan is a list of specific skill recommendations that is based on the most recent MAP Growth testing scores. Students can switch between the Math and ELA recommendations by clicking on the drop arrow located just below the MAP logo.
Remember: regular short sessions of 15-20 minutes per day is the best way to build student progress with IXL.
