At Malvern College Egypt, we believe that every student has the right to thrive, feel valued, and achieve their full potential—regardless of their background, needs, or starting point. Our Inclusion Department is central to this commitment, ensuring that all students receive the support they need to access the curriculum, feel confident in their learning journey, and flourish within our school community.
We understand that many of our students come from multilingual backgrounds. Our dedicated EAL team provides tailored support for students who are developing proficiency in English, helping them to fully access classroom learning while building confidence in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. This support is flexible and responsive, ranging from in-class strategies to small-group or one-to-one sessions, depending on individual needs. Our aim is to empower EAL students to become independent, successful learners in all areas of school life.
Student wellbeing is a top priority at MCE. Our qualified school counsellor works closely with students, staff, and families to promote emotional resilience, mental health, and a positive school experience. Whether students are navigating personal challenges, transitioning between year groups, or simply need someone to talk to, our counselling service provides a safe, confidential, and supportive space.
We also run proactive wellbeing initiatives across the school, fostering a culture of kindness, empathy, and self-awareness. Our counsellor collaborates with staff to deliver workshops, assemblies, and classroom sessions that encourage healthy habits, strong relationships, and self-confidence.
