At Malvern College Egypt, safeguarding and child protection are our highest priorities. As a world-class educational institution with a deep sense of responsibility, we are committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment where every child is valued, respected, and protected.
We foster a culture of trust, openness, and mutual respect, encouraging students to share their views and feel confident speaking with adults. Our child-centred approach is grounded in best practices from Malvern College UK and aligned with leading safeguarding standards from the UK and around the world.
To uphold these standards, all staff receive annual safeguarding training and are expected to model the highest standards of professional conduct. We have a dedicated Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), supported by Deputy DSLs, including Arabic-speaking staff and a qualified school counsellor.
Safeguarding expectations are clearly communicated to all parents and visitors to ensure that everyone plays a role in keeping our school community safe.
Our Safeguarding, Child Protection and Safer Working Policy can be accessed here and from our policies page.
