PREP is now one week of catechesis (8:30 am to 2:30 pm) for the 2026-27 school year. It will be June 15 to 19, with four Sunday Family Faith sessions.
The Sunday Family Faith Sessions for 2026-27 are Sunday August 30th 2026 followed by November 22nd 2026, January 24th 2027 and April 25th 2027. PREP also includes family participation in four spiritual and four service activities.
Children receiving their Sacraments will meet an additional three times to focus on reception and deeper understanding of the Sacrament.

Registration is now closed. If you’re a returning family, please do not fill out a form. You will receive an email from Parish Giving when registration opened. This email will contain login credentials for a Parish Giving account that was created for you. There is no need for you to create a Parish Giving account. If you didn’t receive an email, please check your spam or any other emails that we may have on file for you. If you check and haven’t found the email, please email us.

Help PROVIDED to anyone whose child is older and hasn’t had any religious education outside of your home, learns differently and/or needs to receive his or her Sacraments, please reach out! We will work as a team to come up with a plan! It is never too late to grow our relationship with our Lord!

Weekend of August 29/30
All Families should plan on bringing the children’s backpacks to Mass on August 29 and 30.
The backpacks will be placed in the Sanctuary and Father will bless them for the children as they prepare for the start of the new school year!
Saints Peter and Paul's Work of Mercy and Spiritual Events
Each time we help others, we are doing what our Lord ask us to do. Please have your family try to join us when you can to get stay connected with our parish community at the Works of Mercy and Spiritual events! This sign up is not all inclusive of what you can do. Rather a place where you can find some activities and a get a reminder. You are welcome to attend/do other spiritual and Works of Mercy.

Volunteer for Lunch Duty for Summer PREP – Must have clearances and a few other things links to this can be found on the parish website.
Help us with our Sunday PREP where needed like setting up and breaking down chairs, checking people in and children out, help set up and clean up afterwards or serving coffee/snacks or being her for coffee/snack delivery and so on
Make meals as families together after school for the current PREP year. When we make meals as a family in our group, we ask that the pasta and meat are precooked. Sauce and veggies do not need to be. All casseroles will be frozen and reheated in an oven. When coming, please use the side entrance and drop your food off starting with pasta, meat, veggies and sauce. We will need 1 or 2 people to write out the labels and attached them to the casserole lid. We will then ask families to help bring the items to the freezers. Before we start arranging the meals, we will start some prayerful time.
Make meals as a family at home and drop them off at church. When you do this, please leave a slip which were emailed to you or email us a picture if you making the meal.
Reading, Ushering, Greeting, bringing up the gifts at the Children’s Mass or May Procession.
We will add additional Parish Offerings as we become aware of such but please check the bulletin, Father’s emails, announcements etc. for additional Works of Mercy and Spiritual activities in the parish as this list is not all inclusive.

A calendar with the Sunday dates, Sacrament meeting dates as well as dates for Spiritual and Service dates are being worked on and will be sent out when finalized before June. The Spiritual and Service dates will be updated ongoing as different programing is added and please keep in mind, you can participate in service and spiritual events at other places not just at SSPP. For example, attend a retreat at Malvern Retreat house, visit St. John Neumann’s shine or make Advent Wreaths as a group. We hope to plan events at SSPP like we have in the past similar to the day of service that we have each January. Or perhaps as a family you visit a retirement home in our parish or adopt a family through our angel tree at church.
In addition, we are looking for certified teachers to teach as well as volunteers for PREP and other Family Ministry programs. If you or anyone you know is interested, please let us know. Thank you!
Upcoming Children's Masses
Children's Masses are usually the first Sunday of the month during the school year at the 9:30 AM Mass. Doughnuts, bagels and refreshments directly afterwards. Children's Masses start again on October 4th followed by Nov. 1st and Dec. 6th!
Please join us to hear God's Good News and receive our Lord in the Eucharist at Mass!
Saint's Peter and Paul Children's Masses
are the first Sunday of each month during the 9:30 Mass from October through May!
