NEW THIS YEAR - PREP IMMERSION ONE WEEK IN THE SUMMER PLUS 4 Sundays, 4 Spiritual and 4 Service Activities!

PREP is now one week of catechesis (8:30 am to 2:30 pm) June 16 to 20, with four Sunday Family Faith sessions, Sept.7th, Nov. 23rd, Jan. 25th and April 26th as well as family participation in four spiritual and four service activities.

Children receiving their Sacraments will meet an additional three times to focus on reception and deeper understanding of the Sacrament.

Registration is open. If you’re a returning family, please do not fill out a form. You should have received an email from Parish Giving on 3/10/25 when registration opened. This email will contain login credentials for a Parish Giving account that was created for you. There is no need for you to create a Parish Giving account. If you didn’t receive an email, please check your spam or any other emails that we may have on file for you. If you check and haven’t found the email, please email us.

We would like to have Children's Liturgy of the Word at least once a month during the school year if not each week but we need volunteers to do so. If you are interested in volunteering, please reach out!

Religious Education is in dire need of Children's Liturgy of the Word leaders on Sundays during the 9:30 AM Mass. We will provide training. Please consider helping! We promise that you will get as much out of it as the kids do. Thank you to those who volunteered this year! You have made such a wonderful impact on our children! They love growing closer to our Lord!

News & Events

PREPregistration for the upcoming year, 2025/26, is open! PREP is for all children in grades 1 through 7 who attend our public and private schools that aren’t Catholic.

PREP is one week of catechesis (8:30 am to 2:30 pm) beginning on 6/16/25 and ending on 6/20/25 with 4 Sunday Family Faith Sessions held throughout the year as well as family participation in 4 spiritual and 4 Service Activities. For Children who are receiving their Sacraments, we will meet an additional three times to focus on reception and deeper understanding of the Sacrament.

A calendar with the Sunday dates, Sacrament meeting dates as well as dates for Spiritual and Service dates are being worked on and will be sent out when finalized before June. The Spiritual and Service dates will be updated ongoing as different programing is added and please keep in mind, you can participate in service and spiritual events at other places not just at SSPP. For example, attend a retreat at Malvern Retreat house, visit St. John Neumann’s shine or make Advent Wreaths as a group. We hope to plan events at SSPP like we have in the past similar to the day of service that we have each January. Or perhaps as a family you visit a retirement home in our parish or adopt a family through our angel tree at church.

In addition, we are looking for certified teachers to teach as well as volunteers for PREP and other Family Ministry programs. If you or anyone you know is interested, please let us know. Thank you!

Children's Masses are the first Sunday of the month during the school year at the 9:30 AM Mass with doughnuts, bagels and refreshments directly afterwards. Future dates are

11/2, 12/7, 1/4, 2/1, 3/1 and 5/3.

Please note that due to Easter, we will not have a Children's Mass in April. Please join us to hear God's Good News and receive our Lord in the Eucharist at Mass!

Saint's Peter and Paul Children's Masses

are the first Sunday of each month during the 9:30 Mass from October through May!

We welcome students of all abilities to our PREP program which meets weekly during the school. In addition, we have an All Ability PREP class that meets once a month during the school year.
