Emergent Writing: Writing WITH Adults = Predictable Chart Writing
20-30 minutes daily
Predictable Chart Writing is a shared group writing experience over the couse of a week.
The teacher provides a modeled sentence or sentence starter (e.g. I like ___). The students then contribute one or two (or more) of their own words. Students should hear their sentences 20-40 times throughout the week.
