Background:

Mr. MacMillan moved from Redlands to the SF Bay Area to take his dream job as a high school teacher in 2009.  During that time he has taught Spanish each year and has had two stints as a speech and debate teacher/coach at DVHS.  In 2021-22 he spent the school year in Valencia, Spain, where he fell in love with the utility of the bicycle and was inspired to create a YouTube channel about active transportation & urbanism.  This combined three passions from three decades of his life.  In his teens he loved making home videos, in his 20s he fell in love with teaching, and in his 30s he once again fell in love with the humble bicycle.  It is an absolute privilege and honor to teach what was his favorite class in high school, video production.  Mr. MacMillan is pursuing FIRE (financial independence retire early) to fulfill his dream of being a YouTuber living once again in Valencia.
