NAHS

The National Art Honor Society is sponsored by the National Art Education Association. A goal of NAHS is to recognize students who have shown an outstanding ability in art and their academics. The organization also strives to aid students in working toward the attainment of the highest standards in art areas and to bring art education to the attention of the school and community. Members are eligible for scholarships, special recognition and awards.

One thing that ArtQuest's NAHS Chapter has participated in each year is partnering with The Memory Portrait Project to create portraits for youth around the world who have faced substantial challenges, such as neglect, abuse, loss of parents, and extreme poverty. This year we are creating portraits for youth in India, living in group foster homes. These portraits will be mailed to the Memory Project and brought to the children and presented as gifts. We hope you enjoy viewing some of the portraits created by the 20/21 NAHS Members.
