JADA BYRNE

My name is Jada Byrne and I'm 17 years old. My ArtQuest specialty is visual fine arts and ive been in this program for 4 years. I primarily use arcylic paints in semi-realistic or slightly expressionistic styles. I also enjoy using outliner pens, collages and some digital editing in art. I hope to use these in my drawing portfolio this year and hopefully have a career in something related to art.

My guiding question is, "How do our memories and experiences shape who we become?" What determines who we are as people? Does everybody await a final form? As individuals, we have amassed a collection of unique and personal experiences that connect us to our past and shapes who we are in the future. Memory provides an opportunity to shape ourselves as people and learn and adjust our actions and behavior to evolve into an ever changing person.

I go through different phases and episodes of my life that I take a piece of everywhere I go. These stages include the entrance and exit of old and new friends and people in my life, different states of mind, life changing experiences, struggles, and adventures.

In the future, I want to explore different branches of human philosophy and compile them together to form visual representations of the basis of humanity; loss, love, health, freedom, and resilience.
