Catholic schools integrate faith formation with academic instruction to develop students’ moral character, discipline, and resilience. These institutions aim to guide learners in balancing spiritual values with academic responsibilities. At St. Rita’s College of Balingasag, an RVM institution in Misamis Oriental, Senior High School students are guided by the core values of Faith, Excellence, and Humble Service, which are expected to influence their attitudes toward learning and academic performance. Although several studies have shown that Catholic education promotes moral formation and academic excellence, limited research specifically examines how the core values of Faith, Excellence, and Humble Service relate to the academic success of Senior High School students. Few localized studies have explored this relationship within Catholic institutions such as St. Rita’s College of Balingasag. This quantitative correlational study examined 105 Grade 11 students using a Likert-scale questionnaire, Descriptive Statistics, and Pearson Correlation Coefficient, with academic success measured through General Weighted Average (GWA). Students showed high practice of Catholic values, with Faith (M=4.24) and Service (M=4.21) interpreted as highly practiced and Excellence (M=4.17) as practiced. Pearson correlation results showed weak positive relationships between the Catholic school values and academic performance. Faith showed a significant relationship with General Weighted Average (r=0.21, p=0.029), while Excellence (r= 0.20, p=0.062) and Service (r=0.18, p=0.060) showed weak but non-significant correlations. The findings suggest that Catholic school values enhance students' motivation, discipline, and academic behaviors, although academic success is influenced by multiple factors beyond practicing the core values. Therefore, institutions like St. Rita’s College of Balingasag should integrate faith formation with specific academic support to improve student performance.
