The "Web-Based Chatbot for Answering Basic Queries for St. Rita's College of Balingasag" was created to improve how the school handles frequently asked questions. With support for English, Tagalog, and Bisaya, the chatbot provides quick and accessible assistance to students, parents, and staff. Developed using PHP, JavaScriot. and AJAX, the system includes an admin interface that allows school personnel to manage queries, customize settings, and update the database. Using the Spiral Software Development Life Cycle, the chatbot achieved an 80% accuracy rate in answering programmed questions, helping reduce the repetitive workload of staff. The chatbot also stores unanswered queries, making it easier for the admin to refine responses and improve system accuracy over time. While it sometimes struggles with queries outside its database, the system meets its goal of improving response times and enhancing user experience. The project highlights opportunities for future improvements, such as adding Al features, user feedback tools, and expanding functionality to better serve the school community.
