District II - Squad 146 has secured a donation to bring back Rescue Services to Twin Rivers. Our extrication tools are stored on our primary ambulance so that our members who are EMTs or Firefighter/EMTs who are trained to NFPA 1670 as Rescue Technicians. Extrication was a service performed by the Rescue Squads' in the 1970 to late 2000 and District II has restored that service in 2021. We work jointly with the local fire departments.
With several bodies of water within our local jurisdiction, our water rescue team is growing and is trained in several specialties to include swift and flood water search and rescue.
