January 1976, East Windsor Rescue Squad split into District I covering the western portion of the township and District II covering the eastern section.

Etra Lake Park - 9 Disbrow Hill Road
Etra Lake Pathway - Etra Lake Pathway is a paved path that is approximately 0.9 mile long and 8 feet wide. It is located in the eastern portion of the Township in the the Twin Rivers Planned Unit Development. It runs from the end of Lake Drive along Etra Lake to Milford Road and Etra Road (CR 571), all the while providing a connection between the residences in Twin Rivers and Etra Lake Park.
Disbrow Hill Playing Fields - 9 Disbrow Hill Road
Disbrow Hill Trail - The Disbrow Hill Trail is a paved loop path that is approximately 1.0 mile long and 8 feet wide. Located in the eastern portion of the township, it runs the perimeter of the Disbrow Hill Athletic Fields and is adjacent to Etra Lake Park. Its primary function is for recreation, and it is confined to the athletic field complex.
