On 17 November 2022, twenty-five Form 2 and Form 4 students had their last lesson of the Australian Crayfish Course. During the lesson, they observed the crayfish and recorded data, such as water temperature and pH value, for better monitoring of the living environment and health conditions of the crayfish. In addition, they learned to apply micro:bit programming skills to set parameters for IoT monitoring of the system. Through the programme, not only did the students acquire hands-on experience of raising crayfish with the aid of the latest agricultural technology, they also cultivated a sense of responsibility via taking care of the crayfish.

On 20 October 2022, twenty-five Form 4 students attended the second lesson of the Australian Crayfish Course. After students were briefed on the basic knowledge of the Australian Crayfish and water quality maintenance, the instructor then demonstrated to them how to take care of the crayfish in the Chinese Mitten Crabs Aquaponics Room. In the lesson, they learned how to monitor the health conditions of the crayfish, pick up the scaffold to examine the living environment and remove excess food and excreta in the tank for better water quality.

Twenty-five students participated in the first lesson of the Australian Crayfish Course instructed by an aquaculture expert on 13 October 2022. The course aimed to further promote sustainable indoor aquaculture and aquaponics in the crayfish-vegetable-fish ecosystem.
