EASTERN CANADIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS 2019

2019 Eastern Canadian Judo Championships Coach's Report

This year Team Judo Kai sent 4 fighters, Abbi McCoullough, Noah Hardy, Chris Brisson and J.C. Gravel.

Day one was Abbi's day, with two out of three fights, the last with a last second armbar win was enough to earn her GOLD, EASTERN CANADIAN CHAMPION! Abbi has been chasing this goal for years!

Day two was Noah, Chris and J.C.

Noah had three tough fights with a solid win for BRONZE!

Chris and JC were in their own division and put on a great show with Chris coming out with GOLD.

4 fighters, 3 medal finishes and two new 2019 Eastern Canadian Judo Champions!

I am very proud of everyone who competed and also the team that help prepare them, great job everyone!
