Osmo prides itself with educational learning using hand-on play with tangible pieces and digital fun.
The Osmo for Schools division is developing a new teacher dashboard that provides teachers with the opportunity to track progress, set levels for various apps, and load customized words lists to be used with Words.
The Osmo apps all required some sort of tangile interactive, in addition to, the app on an iPad. We have 6 iPads with cases available. If you plan to use more than 6 the Osmo games would require iPads to be used without their case. It is best used as a center due to our limited numbers.
Game Manuals are linked below and there are more videos, in addition to those linked on the Lending Library page, available on YouTube to show how the game is played. Recommended Grade levels are listed on the Lending Library page but the activities can also be used outside those grade levels as it appropriate for student skills. All apps will be pre-loaded on the iPads that come with the materials from your Instructional Technology Specialist.
Disclaimer: You are able to download them on your teacher iPad but you won't be able to see how it works without the tangible materials. This is where the YouTube videos and pre-meetings with your Instructional Technology Specialist come in handy.
