Most issues can be fixed by completing a hard restart.
Press and quickly release the volume up button nearest the top button.
Press and quickly release the volume down buton farthest from the top button.
Press and hold the top (power) button. Keep holding the button until the Apple logo appears, then release the top button. Do not swipte to power off!
Guided Access: This is used to lock a student in an app on their individual iPad. A passcode must be established during setup that is used to end the Guided Access so the student can navigate to other things on the iPad.

Assistive Access: This allows access to only certain apps and provides larger icons and text. It is meant to be used on the iPad for the entire day or long durations. Assistive Access does not allow access to the App Portal, Settings, Status Bar - where the battery and time are located. You would need to exit Assistive Access to access those items.

Exiting Assistive Access - Triple click the home button, click "Exit Assistive Access", enter passcode for Assistive Access (not the iPad).
