I was a Substitute Teacher at Southside for 5 years while my own children attended Southside ISD. I gained my Paraprofessional Certification in 2014 and became a PreK Aide. I learned and grew with my PreK students and will forever hold them dear to my heart. I then moved up to the Receptionist position five years ago. I have enjoyed greeting and getting to know all the students and their families.
Fun Facts/Hobbies: Born in Eagle Pass, TX and raised mainly in San Antonio, I only have one younger brother and numerous nephews. I have been married for 26 yrs. I am a very proud Baseball/Softball mom. I am also a very proud Marine mom and an extremely proud Abuela (grandmother) of three grandchildren who are in my life. I love to immerse myself in reading books. Love to watch movies and spend time in my back yard and tending to my garden. I love DIY Projects with my husband and family. I was a Folklorico dancer as a young girl and still love the art of Folklorico Dancing.
I started at Southside ISD as a receptionist at the 9th grade Academy. I work there for 6 years then I transferred to Gallardo as an Attendance /PEIMS Clerk where I am currently working. I have been at Southside for a total of 12 years. I enjoy working with students and parents.

I go by the nickname of Maggie, my name is Maria Magdalena Mihertadian, and I am the PEIMS Attendance and Registrar clerk. My job is to get all children in school, maintain all data required, and most importantly to see that students come to school. It is my job to work with administration and teachers to encourage and support parents when students are out of school. It is important to let our parents know that there is always help, no matter what is happening in one's life, what situation they are in, and that we are here for them, communication is key. A big part is to be encouraging, giving incentives, and motivating students to be at school everyday for their benefit.
I enjoy walking, roller-skating, swimming, cooking, baking, crafts, family pictures, the beach, and Christmas. I attend church regularly and I enjoy serving my family, my church, and my community. I urge you to call or visit me at any time.
