All district coaches (regular and volunteer) are required to take ANNUAL TRAINING on concussion awareness and cardiac arrest in student - athletes and submit certificates to the athletic director verifying the courses have been completed by the deadline established for each season's coaches' meeting.

Additionally, each coach must provide proof of passing each of the courses listed below before being officially hired by the Southern Tioga School District. Once proof of passing a course is provided, this certificate remains in effect indefinitely. Certificates will be uploaded to the PIAA Coaching Education System website. These courses require fees that will be paid for by the coach upfront and then reimbursed by the Southern Tioga School District upon successful proof of completion and payment.
