Know Emergency Procedures
Immediately release the green handle in case of an emergency.
Keep Hands Safe
Use clamps to secure cuts whenever possible.
Never position your hands closer than 6 inches away from the saw blade.
Always Monitor the Miter Saw
Never leave the miter saw on and unattended.
Wait for the Machine to Stop
Do not remove material, reposition pieces, or make any other adjustments until machine has completely stopped.
Secure Your Workpiece
Use clamps to hold your piece against the bottom plate.
Keep hands away from the blade while positioning the material.
Set Up Your Cut
Adjust the miter or bevel angles as needed by lifting up the small black level and rotating the saw blade.
3. Start the Saw
Hold the handle firmly, squeeze the trigger, and let the blade reach full speed.
Make the Cut – Lower the blade slowly and steadily into the material.
Push the blade through the piece of wood, never pull it towards yourself.
4. Stopping the saw
Release the green trigger to stop the saw blade.
Remove cut pieces only after the blade has completely stopped.
Wood Scraps
Place excess material in the wood scraps bin.
Clear away saw dust and debris.
Personal Protective Equipment
Return all PPE to its designated area.
Write your name on your dust mask and store it in your cubby future use.
